Why event managers book us
A corporate audience expects polish, punctuality and a performance that lifts the room without hijacking it. Over 3,000 shows we've learned how to pitch a set for Christmas parties, end-of-financial-year celebrations, awards nights and everything in between.
We're set up and sound-checked before your first guest walks in. We coordinate with your MC, AV supplier and venue on the day, and adjust volume and energy to the room. When speeches run long, we ride it out. When it's time to move, we go hard.
The events we play
Gala dinners and charity fundraisers at venues like the Cordis, Pullman, Hilton and Spark Arena; Christmas parties at The Cloud, Shed 10 and The Hunting Lodge; launches and activations at Commercial Bay, Britomart and around the Viaduct; and awards ceremonies in theatres, hotel ballrooms and private clubs across the city.
We travel with everything needed for a room of around 400 guests: a 6,000W PA rig, stage lighting and a full set of backline. For larger spaces we work with your in-house AV and to any technical rider.
What's included
Stage plot consultation, a 6,000W PA system, stage lighting, wireless radio mics, your playlist or suitable background music through our system at any point in the event, public liability insurance documentation, and direct coordination with your event manager in the weeks before the show.

02How much does it cost to hire a corporate band in Auckland?
Pricing for a corporate event band in Auckland varies with performance length, venue location, and date. Peak season (November – December) books out fast. Get in touch with your event date, venue, and expected guest numbers and we'll send a tailored quote within 24 hours.
03What music do you play at corporate events?
We draw from a huge repertoire of crowd-pleasing covers spanning the 60s through to today — classic rock, soul, funk, pop, disco, and modern hits. Think Stevie Wonder, The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, Bruno Mars, Dua Lipa, and everything in between. We shape the setlist around your audience and the room's energy. If you'd like a specific song for an awards moment or a company anthem, bring it up during the booking call — we can't guarantee every request, but we'll be upfront about what's possible and work with you to find something that hits the brief.
04Can you adjust volume and energy levels during the event?
Absolutely. We're experienced at reading the room — soft, tasteful background music during arrival drinks and dinner, then ramping up to high-energy dance sets once speeches wrap. We coordinate directly with your MC, AV team, or event manager to hit every run-sheet cue cleanly.
05How many hours should a corporate band play?
Most Auckland corporate events book us for 2 × 60-minute sets or 3 × 45-minute sets across a 4–5 hour event window. Between sets we can play your playlist through our system, or provide suitable background music. For longer galas or multi-stage programmes we offer flexible packages up to 4 hours of live music.
06Do you travel outside Auckland for corporate events?
Yes — we're based in Auckland but regularly play corporate events across Hamilton, Tauranga, Rotorua, Taupō, Hawke's Bay, Wellington, and Queenstown. Travel fees apply for events outside the Auckland region and can usually be rolled into an all-inclusive quote.
07Do you have public liability insurance?
Yes, we carry full public liability insurance and can provide a certificate of currency to your venue or event manager on request. Many Auckland corporate venues require this as part of their vendor sign-off, and we have all the documentation on hand.
08Can you accommodate themed events or branded performances?
We love themed corporate events. Whether it's a decade theme (80s, 90s, Motown), a specific genre focus, dress-code alignment with your brand, or tailored song choices to support a product reveal, we're flexible and creative. Give us the brief and we'll build the set around it.
09Do you bring your own sound and lighting equipment?
Yes. We travel with a professional 6,000W PA system and stage lighting rig suitable for venues up to around 400 people. For larger corporate venues or ballrooms we coordinate with your in-house AV team or production company, and we're comfortable working to any technical rider.
